To maximise and help drive forward our sales, an opportunity has arisen for a highly professional WEB DEVELOPER to join our Marketing and IT teams. The role will have responsibility for all our current and future websites – maintaining them to a level that keeps Raleigh at the forefront of the web customer experience. This will include online development on all platforms promoting the company’s products and services, delivered to a high standard and within project timescales.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Design & build customer-focused websites & interfaces
  • Develop API interfaces with company suppliers and trading partners
  • Preparing, maintaining and updating content for all sites
  • Providing a central point of contact for all web-related enquiries
  • Continuous development of web content across all platforms

You will need to have a proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility, a good understanding of SEO principles and an in-depth understanding of the development process (design, develop, deploy)

You should also have experience of ASP.NET with VB.NET, C#, PHP, HTML, XHTML, AJAX.NET, CSS, Jquery, XML, Microsoft SQL Server (key requirement), Microsoft IIS, Javascript, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Adobe Photoshop.

Preferably, you will be a graduate with at least one year’s experience in a consumer-focussed web environment.

The role is based at our head office in Eastwood, Nottingham.
