Electric bikes (or e-bikes as they're also known) as are great for people that may struggle to ride or they just want to add a bit more fun to their ride! But how do they work? Don't panic! We've put together an easy page that explains exactly how they work which you can find right here.

In essence, they're very similar to regular push bikes, you can read a full comparison of the two types here. The main difference is the added components you find on an ebike. You'll find a motor, battery and display on them - but not a throttle, which many people believe there is. You can find out why they don't use throttles here.
