Easter activities from Raleigh 🐣

We know your long weekend is precious and it's a great time to get in some valuable family time. So if you're stuck for ideas to enjoy your Easter break with the whole family? Check out our top 5 Easter activity ideas that are more simple than you may think.

1.Egg hunt

A timeless classic that guarantees a smile on the face of your little ones as they marvel at the chocolatey treats that the Easter bunny has left behind for them. You can be as simple as you'd like for the younger ones or you can make it a little more challenging for the older children. If you have the time, you can make your own clues or riddles that leaves the children to solve a scavenger hunt (and wear them out in the process!)

2. Picnic

Get the whole family on the bikes explore a new area, find the perfect food spot and set up camp! Daily routines can often interrupt that precious family time around the dinner table so why not have a picnic instead? As we all know how temperamental English weather can be, make sure you get the most of the little sunshine we are due, we may not see it again for a while!

3. Eat!

Enjoy those Easter eggs, have another one…. and maybe another one can’t hurt? Let’s face it Easter weekend is just one long cheat day for all of us but it’s okay because it’s just more to burn off with a long ride on your favourite bikes. Check out our blog from last year which breaks down the nutritional information from our favourite Easter treats as well as taking you through exactly how much riding you need to do to burn it off!

4. Family ride

Make the most out of the weather we’re expecting by rounding up the whole gang and exploring the beautiful countryside on two wheels. This is a great way to spend some quality family time together and gives the younger ones the chance to explore. With a long weekend ahead of us, now's the chance to leave the stresses of work at the door and create a lasting memory whilst keeping the whole family fit and healthy both mentally and physically.

5. Get outdoors!

Whatever you’re thinking of doing this weekend, why not do it outdoors? The sun looks ready to make an appearance this easter so make the most of it! We know the kids may be glued to a screen half the time but make Easter 2019 a time to explore the outdoors.
