RALEIGH MK2 CHOPPER CROWDFUNDER – PRIZE DRAW


Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the Raleigh "MK2 Chopper Crowdfunder" Prize Draw (the "Prize Draw"). You will be legally bound by these Terms from the time you submit an entry for the Prize Draw.

Our goal is to raise as much money as possible for World Bicycle Relief 1141613. There is no cap on the fundraising target. No donation or purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw and whatever the final total of donations at the end of the Prize Draw Period, there will be one winner of the Prize Draw.

Opening and closing dates, eligibility

1 The Prize Draw will begin at or around 12noon on October 25th 2021 and close at 12:00pm on 5 November 2021 (the "Prize Draw Period").

2 The Prize Draw is open to all individuals who:

(a) are residents of the United Kingdom; and

(b) are aged 18 years or over, at the time of entry into the Prize Draw.

3 There is no qualifying purchase, donation or payment of any kind required in order to enter the Prize Draw.

4 The Prize Draw is not open to employees, contractors, representatives, agents, officers or directors of the Promoter, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, marketing agencies, or to any of their immediate family members or persons living in the same household, whether or not related, or anyone else professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

5 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose.

6 Internet access and a valid email address and phone number are required to enter the Prize Draw.

Entry

7 There are two routes of entry for this Prize Draw. To enter the Prize Draw, participants must either:

(a) visit https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/raleighchoppercompetition-1, purchase a ticket raising funds for World Bicycle Relief 1141613 and enter their name, address, email address and contact telephone number during the Prize Draw Period; or

(b) send a postcard by first or second class post with their name, address and contact telephone number to Raleigh UK Ltd, 136 Church Street, Eastwood, Nottingham, NG16 3HT, FAO: Marketing Dept, to be received by the Promoter no later than the end of the Prize Draw Period.

8 No purchase or donation is necessary to enter the Prize Draw by the process set out in paragraph 7(b), save for the normal costs of ordinary post.

9 Entries must be completed correctly and be received by the Promoter during the Prize Draw Period to be eligible to win the Prize. All entries posted or received outside the Prize Draw Period will not be included in the Prize Draw and are not eligible to receive a Prize.

10 There is no limit on how many times an entrant can enter into the Prize Draw.

11 Entries generated by a script, automated bots, macro, mechanical or other automated means or means of manipulation are prohibited and will cause disqualification. Entries made through agents, third parties, competition services, organised groups or any entry duplication method will not be accepted.

12 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it believes not to be participating within the spirit of the Prize Draw or suspects of participating in any unfair or unjust behaviour. The Promoter reserves the right to use its discretion in all respects and to enforce any penalty or sanction it deems appropriate.

13 Entries that are not submitted in accordance with these Terms and/or that are delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered, illegible or otherwise defective will be disqualified.

14 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are illegible or lost, delayed, damaged or rendered invalid for any reason beyond its control.

15 Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Prize Draw should be directed to the Promoter and not to Crowdfunder.

16 This Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Crowdfunder. The Promoter is solely responsible for these Terms and the administration of the Prize Draw. Use of the Crowdfunder platform is subject to Crowdfunder's terms of service, which can be found at https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/terms-conditions.

17 If at any time you wish to withdraw from the Prize Draw your request should be made in writing to the Promoter at marketing@raleigh.co.uk.

Selection of the Winner

18 One (1) winner will be selected at random from all valid and eligible entries received during the Prize Draw Period (the "Winner").

19 The Winner will be selected within 21 days of the end date of the Prize Draw Period.

20 The Winner will be contacted by email or telephone by the Promoter to arrange the delivery of the Prize. The Winner will also be asked to confirm their age and compliance with these Terms. Participants who have not won a Prize will not be notified.

21 The Winner must respond to this notification within 48 hours.

22 In the event that the Prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the Winner; the Winner cannot accept the Prize; [it is not possible to deliver the Prize to the Winner within two (2) months of notification]; the Winner is not eligible for the Prize or has not complied with these Terms, the Promoter will award the Prize to a replacement winner selected in the same way as the original Winner.

Prizes

23 The Winner will receive one MK2 Vintage Chopper, 3 custom designed t-shirts and 3 custom prints featuring the t-shirt artwork Please note that the artwork will be custom.

24 There is no cash or other prize alternative to the Prize, except in the event of circumstances outside the Promoter's reasonable control, where the Promoter reserves the right (but is not obliged) to substitute a similar or alternative Prize of equivalent or greater value.

25 The Prize will be delivered to the delivery address supplied by the Winner within 30 days of the end of the Prize Draw Period.

26 Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable.

27 The name and county of the Winner and the Prize won will (unless the Winner has objected on lawful grounds) be made available on receipt of a self-addressed pre-paid envelope received by the Promoter at 136 Church Street, Eastwood, Nottingham, NG16 3HT, FAO: Marketing Dept, for 60 days following the end of the Prize Draw Period. Entrants can object to disclosure of their name and county, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting Kat Thomson at the above-named address. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority or other competent regulatory authority if required to do so.

Publicity

28 The Promoter may request that any Winner take part in non-paid publicity or advertising relating to the Prize Draw, which may include having their photograph taken for promotional and/or press purposes.

General

29 Any decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

30 The Promoter reserves the right to delay, postpone or cancel the Prize Draw and/or amend or alter these Terms in the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, which it considers make it necessary for it to do so.

31 If there is a conflict in these Terms with any other terms whatsoever attached to any other advertising material in respect of this Prize Draw, these conditions will take precedence.

32 The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for (a) any entries which are not received due to the use of incorrect or inaccurate entry information, any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions, or for any other reason; (b) any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of the Prize Draw; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers used in any aspect of the operation of the Prize Draw; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet and/or any website; or (e) any injury or damage to any person’s computer(s) or mobile device(s) which may be related to or result from any attempt to participate in the Prize Draw or to download any materials in connection with the Prize Draw.

33 The Promoter will award the Prize as described in these Terms, but the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for the Winner's use of the Prize.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the Raleigh "Christmas Campaign" (the "Campaign"). You will be legally bound by these Terms from the time you confirm participation to the Campaign.

The organiser of the Campaign is Raleigh UK Ltd whose registered office is at 136 Church Street, Eastwood, Nottingham, NG16 3HT (the "Raleigh").

Terms

  1. Contributor agrees to render services as a contributor in connection with the production of the Raleigh Christmas Campaign. The services will include submitting visual content for use in the Campaign of Raleigh.

  2. Contributor hereby grants to Raleigh, its successors and third parties engaged by Raleigh in this respect to use and display Contributor's likeness, voice, and performance as contained within the Video for any and all purposes pertaining to the Campaign, now known or hereafter devised. The Videos can be used on Social Media in the broadest sense (i.e. on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook etc.).

  3. The Campaign will run from 12 November to 31 December 2021. The Videos will only be used during this period and then deleted.

  4. Contributor acknowledges that Raleigh, its successors and third parties engaged by Raleigh in this respect shall be the absolute owners of any and all recordings produced pursuant to this release and the project. Contributor further agrees, subject to the provisions above, that Raleigh may use Contributor's voice recording in any manner and with whatever copy they choose.

  5. Contributor understands that Raleigh is not obligated to use the Contributor's voice.

  6. Contributor represents that by signing this Agreement and Release, Contributor fully intends to be legally bound to the terms stated within.

  7. Contributor agrees that Raleigh reserves the right to use any associated files or assets submitted for use within the project in any way and for any purpose, in perpetuity (e.g for showreel use).

  8. Any personal information supplied in connection with the Campaign will be used, shared and retained as set out in the Privacy Notice posted at https://www.raleigh.co.uk/gb/en/privacy-policy).

  9. These Terms (including any non-contractual disputes or claims arising out of them) are subject to English law. Any disputes must be referred to the English courts. Consumers in Scotland and Northern Ireland may additionally bring an action in their home courts.

Booking a test ride

When making use of our book a test ride facility which is currently available on our new Motus range please take note of the following terms & conditions:

  • Each store listed as a test ride location is equipped with one or more dedicated test ride bikes. Please be aware that this may mean that it is not possible to test ride specific models within the Motus range. This test ride must be provided by the local store as a free service however please be aware that the store may ask you to leave a form of identification, a bank card or a deposit as security.

  • Raleigh UK Ltd. is acting as a facilitator of the test ride booking process by accepting your booking request and communicating this to the local store. It is then the responsibility of the local store and yourself to finalise an appropriate and suitable time for the test ride to be carried out. We ask all stores to contact you directly to make these arrangements however where a request is time sensitive you may wish to contact the store directly to finalise your request. Please be aware that your initial booking request is not a guaranteed time and will depend on the availability of the individual store you have selected.

  • By filling out this form and requesting a test ride you are deemed to be consenting to your contact details being passed on to the specific store that you have requested a test ride with in line with our privacy policy. In this instance Raleigh UK Ltd is acting as the data owner and the local store is acting as a data processor. This does not entitle the local store to use your personal details for marketing purposes unless you specifically grant that permission. By requesting a test ride using the Raleigh website you are agreeing to us using your personal details to contact you specifically in relation to facilitating and providing the test ride service. By opting in to be kept up to date with us you will also be added to our mailing list to receive marketing communications. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Tuning of electric bikes

Important; Please be aware that this bike is regulated in line with existing Electric Power Assisted Cycles regulations. Any modification to the bike will invalidate the guarantee and in particular any modification which increases the power of the motor and/or the top assisted speed of the bike may make the rider liable to prosecution. Excluding statutory obligations Raleigh will not be held responsible for any injuries incurred following any modification to this product.
